The Portland style is a full leather Chelsea boot construction with a side zip on a low heel. All boots are handmade in limited quantities and the Portland style is initially released in black leather and cognac suede. The soles are blake stitched and the uppers are lined in soft calf leather. Both are produced in dark green that is the hallmark of DP James boots.
Set in Marylebone, Portland Place is one of London's widest and most beautiful streets. Laid out in the 1770's, it is home to some of London's grandest Georgian architecture. Housing notable institutes and embassies, it includes the grand art deco styled Broadcasting House - home to the BBC.
